i think most athiests are not really athiests because when there dieing first thing out of there mouth is oh God
why do you think this is?
and ive seen them with a sickness to death and they say please pray for me
why do you think this is?
and ive seen them trying to argueing and they only thing they can say is you spelling is no good or to many commas
why do you think this is?
could it be that they are not athiests at all and just hideing behind the name to keep from seeing reality?

Your "food for thought" leaves something to be desired. I'm still hungry. Not too insightful indeed.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that you are right and all atheists beg for intervention at the end. How does this prove there is a god rather than prove that atheists are also prone to common human folly? BTW, how many atheist deathbeds have you been privy to? With all due respect, I don't think you know what you are talking about.

Fist of all, expressions involving the word "God" such as "Oh my God," do not directly refer to God--it's just an expression.
And I can give you a first-hand account that atheists do not really secretly believe in God. On the contrary, I have a suspicion that most members of a religion have a looming doubt that it is all really fake.

So I take it you've been at the deathbed of thousands of atheists so you can figure this out? You probably believe that urban legend about Charles Darwin saying he was wrong on his deathbed too. Ha ha.
I say "oh sh*t" just as much as I say "oh god," but that doesn't mean I'm crying out to a big piece of poop to save me. It's a saying. Figure of speech.
I'm very centered on reality. You beleive in mystical sky faeries. You're not.

Like it or not, God have installed an automatic search engine/an instinct in our heart to seek for Him.
"To seek the one being that can help him when troubles befall him, or when he is in distress."
And yes, everybody has it. all souls have it. Denying it won't do you any good. And the name atheist is just like you say, to keep from seeing reality. Saying that God as just a mystical being in Heaven, is a denial of the reality in the first degree.
If God doesn't exist, if His Force doesn't exist, what's to start the Big Bang? And the ever expanding universe?
Astrophysicsist have anonymously agree that the Universe has an beginning and therefore, an end. Just like everything else. The ever expanding universe is going on towards that at a speed of thousand times faster then the speed of light.
How is that possible if there is no force powerful enough to make it so.
Or are they saying the car made itself, without Henry Ford?
Or the airplane create themselves, without the Wright Brothers?
Or simply, the bread they eat just drop out of nothing without the baker?
Its the same as saying this universe came to be without Its Maker. That why I say denying God existence is like denying reality in the first degree. How sad.

I am a true Atheist and do not use the word "god" in ANY expression. I recently fell down a flight of stairs and never used the word "god" in any of my cries as I fell or after the pain really set in there on the landing.
If you use the word "god" in an expression you are not an Atheist.

Is this in English? Don't work on my stuff, whatever kind of tech you are.
I'm atheist, "Oh God" is a common cultural expression and the rest of your rant is unreadable.

I think something inside of them knows, they just can't bring themselves to believe that God can care for them so much, they either don't want to take the time or are scared of really seeing thier sins.

I have never really met an Atheist that didn't believe in a higher power.. HOWEVER .. they may know your respect for the God that you know.. or perhaps they have a respect for you as a good "religious" person.
It's as if they are asking a friend to help them in their time of need.. It's our duties AS religious folk to know the TRUTH and to help those who need it. If an Atheist "asks" you to pray for them... then I would say that we aren't holding up our end of the bargain to our religion...
And as for the "Oh my god".. maybe they are saying ... "owe my God"...just food for thought.

I think you need a little less food, and a little more thought. Because you're certainly full of something, and it's apparently not thinking.
