You can enlist in either the Navy OR the Marines. Females can do every single job a male can do minus just a few like special forces or SEALS in the Navy and the same in the Marine Corps. Females have had full access to military jobs for a long time go talk to a recruiter and you will be shocked at all of your choices. Good luck.

The only thing that a Girl can't join (that I know) out of the two branches is in the navy, the Navy Seals, only guys can be navy seals.
Join the Marines: Learn to fight, be a soilder. Make 20 dollars an hour when you get out
Join the Navy: Advance your career. have fun. do many things and you could, could make over 60 or have your own company.

There are only 2 fields in the Navy that women can't join. That would be the submarine community and Navy SEALS, which are men-only programs. As for the Marines, I believe that women can join pretty much any specialty, they just can't serve directly in combat operations.

Join the AF and see more of the world. I've met and few Marines that happened to be women. They had good things to say about the corp.
My wife is an AF officer and tells women if they want to serve your country and earn a career to join the AF. If you want to serve in an up close personal way then join the Marines. Men or Women. She always says the Marines give and sacrifice the most.
We always buy the Marines drinks when we are out or at dinner.

If you want to be part of the Navy and Marine Corps, become a Hospital Corpsman. The Marines use Navy corpsmen as their docs. If you decide that you didn't like the green side (Marines), when your tour is over, switch back to the blue side (Navy). BTW, female Hospital Corpsman can be assigned to the Marine Corps.

I havent heared differnt but a woan can not hold a combat job. navy may be your best bet if you are going to get a job in your mos and the marines is good for becuase everyone learnes to fight.

the only field not open to females in the Navy is Submarines and SEaLs. everything else is open to them.

Their are alot. Go talk to your recruiter and take an ASVAB. He'll tell you exactly what your options are.
