God wants us all to feel joy ~ Why not give the gift of forgiveness, then top it off with a joke? What a way to restore and sustain relationships, huh?

What do you say?

You really have great questions tonight.

Sometimes conflict and confrontation arises in ALL relationships but Ephesians 4:15 says to speak the truth in love and you can say anything to someone if the truth is spoken in love.

Pray before speaking but the truth always comes out it is important to love and forgive the Bible says to and Jesus preaches this in the Bible.

But also you need to be honest and if you do love someone you tell the truth even if it hurts. My gift is encouragement that is my motivational gift but there are times I lovingly but firmly had to put people in their place. Being firm and being discourteous are NOT the same thing. And I do believe there is a time to speak up and stand your ground and there is a time to be silent and let things go.

Thank you for the reminder that we all need to love one another and encourage one another.

Peace be with you and thank you for being you:)e4g

God does forgive you for everything when asked properlly.

Everyone might not be a Jay Leno fan, but I think this quote pretty much

There was a blonde who was tired of all the blonde jokes going around and decided to dye her hair brown. She then went for a drive in the country and came upon a shepherd herding his sheep across the road.

"Hey, shepherd! If I guess how many sheep there are here, can I keep one?" The shepherd is puzzled but agrees. Out of the blue, she blurts out "352!" He is stunned but keeps his word and allows her to pick out a sheep. She picks out the cutest one.

He looks at her and says "If I guess what color your hair really is, can I have my dog back?"

Well I agree with you and I must openly admit that I try not to offend or cause hurt to anyone. It is in our human nature to get back at people for being malicious toward us and I had my faults there. I think that being a follower of Christ Jesus, we should always follow his pattern of showing love when there is ridicule and opposition. When I first came on this site it was an invitIation from someone that befriended me. I amlearning not to allow people to shape my thinking of myself in anyones views. Also I met opposition and found the strength from God to keep coming back. I guess if it wasn't for my love for him and his unchanging love for me I would not be determined to share the gosple here. As the feed back kept coming and the peoples every where kept asking, it became amuzing. Some people make my day because their responses are funny to me although they may mean harm. I just find the humor in it and wisdom from other children of God's kingdom across the globe. May God pronounce his blessing on you all every where and I will always try to be open to others views.

This is what I try most of the time, but then somebody hurts me or ignores my attempt of humor which puts me down. It is a magnificent way to restore and sustain relationships.

I hurt people sometimes with my words as a reaction to their misbehavior with me, and this actually hurts me more.

Why should God be happy (or make us feel so), when we are doing something in direct disobedience. Never has God punished anyone for doing what He expects; they might experience trials, but don't we all.

Do your parents punish and scold you when you disobey or do they fluff things up and tell it's it alright, what are you supposed to do with a disobedient child.

It's funny that people would answer a question, about not being hurtful and negitive, in such a terrible way.

Do you mean like practicing random acts of kindness? I have been on that course as well as I am able for about 11/2 years. I feel much more inner peace and have far fewer enemies.
The more that try it the better the world.

I can quote you at least 100 instances in the Bible where "God" made people feel things I would not equate with "joy."
