If he is tolerant of your atheism, and you're equally tolerant of his Christian beliefs, then it shouldn't be a huge issue. I've been in a relationship for years with someone who doesn't share my religious beliefs, and it's worked out rather nicely. It all boils down to mutual respect.

The things that are most likely to ruin a relationship are differences in finances, and differences in religion.
I am a Christian. I am married to an atheist. Or was married.
He pretended to believe in my ethics. Like loyalty, and until death do us part, not to mention, not stealing from the family budget so he could party and drink.
I would never violate the marriage vows, or steal, or drink and PARTY TO EXCESS.
Oh, yes, when I spend about 10 hours a week with the congregation, NOW! he is jealous, but I did that when we were dating!!! He knew that.

I am not shedding a poor light on Atheist, please don't think that! I am pointing out MY differences that screwed up a marriage.

Even two Christian religions, or HEAVEN HELP US, We know two different Muslim religious sects, can have Major Problems.

Oh, I guess you can do it! But someone will have to give 90% of themselve and only expect 10% in return, so which one of you will that be???

Keep falling , it may be the best decision you will ever make. I had rather learn about Jesus who died for my sins and get everlasting life than to go through life without hope. Really study what he believes so you two will be in agreement.

Hey, I'm still single and atheist!

But seriously, I've had relationships with women 'of faith'. Like the above wisdom explains: agree to disagree, but don't let it break communication. Communication is key.

If he's Christian, he will run, not walk away, from you.

2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Depends on how serious a Christian he is. If he is the majority nominal type, no big deal. Church on Easter and Christmas and everything's cool.

If he's the serious, evangelical type, you really want to run the other way. Fast.
