In other words..."Believe as I do, OR ELSE!!!"

Doesn't strike me as a very loving arrangement.

How do you know you're going to live forever in some new eternal body if you haven't died yet? Because someone told you that, or you read that in the Bible? Incidently, the Bible was originally put together strictly for the Roman emperor's political reasons. They wanted the people to believe they needed someone holy enough to be a liason to God. So anyone who had a problem or concern that they thought needed a higher power to solve would go to the Pope or a priest and have them talk to God about it, for a price, of course. The priest would instead talk to the emperor about it. This was a way to spy on the people. Any of the writings that didn't endorse this idea, were not included in the Bible. The Bible was put together hundreds of years ago, and has been interpreted from many languages into many languages. With every interpretation, ideas can be lost or added depending on who is doing the interpretation. It originally started with the Roman Catholic church. Then a branch broke away and the Protestant (or "protest"- ant, those who protested having to pay money to have their sins forgiven) religion was born. Look how many more times that has branched because someone with good leadership skills didn't agree with some aspect of the current church and started a new church. Each time a new church was formed, the new leader found a way to interpret the Bible to backup his ideas. One idea all the leaders agree on is the concept of eternal life. Heaven or Hell. Promising someone that they will go to one or the other of those places after they die is the perfect con. No one can prove what will happen after we die. If we find out there's no Heaven, we can't come back from the dead and sue the priest for decieving us. We humans are so egotistical that the idea of preventing our termination after death is too good to resist. We want to keep living forever. All we have to do is give money to the church and believe what the priest/preacher says. Everyone gets what they want. The preacher/priest gets the money and control over his people, and the people get to believe that they won't just terminate after they die. So who's interpretation of the Bible are you following?

Lmfao.

No one lives forever. Save for The Holy Father and Son

If you've read the bible, you'd know that.

When you die, you're either in eternal damnation, or heaven.

You aren't alive.

And frankly, I'm offended by the fact that someone who knows so little about his religion would attempt to come online and transfer people over to Jesus by the promise of life forever.

Ugh.
LEARN before you SPEAK.

"but did you know that ever one shall live forever ?"

Really?

"can you imagine forever, ?"

Kind of. Thats a long time.

"so its my job to tell ya ,, turn to Jesus before its to late,"

To late for what?

If by this whole thing you mean to say that I will burn in hell, you my friend, are sadly mistaken. There is no hell.

Ok .... now tell me .... other then a centuries old book that was created to fight the pagans, your JC fan clubs and you think so, what other evidences do you have.

Like you say, forever is a big word ...... a big word need an extraordinary evidence. The only "evidence" you have is your imagination. Now, that is convincing (I am being sarcastic.)

On one hand I could be God's slave, on the other hand I may end up being Satan's slave, both for eternity. Well my brother, I guess it doesn't matter who I serve because either way I'd be a mindless puppet.

Might as well make this life count.

Only 144thousand go to heaven, and I am a Christian, soooo
re read Revelations, if you can find it! and leave the Atheist alone, unless you can do what the Apostle Paul did...
To the poor I became poor, to the uneducated I became uneducated etc. so that He humbly taught ALL people WITHOUT offending them!!!!!!!!

So its your loving god's decision that one should be forever tormented in hell rather than just taking the person back to nothing. I'd rather not spend eternity with someone who thinks like that.

I believe in so much, the innocence of children, that love can last till death do us part, in caring for our parents in their old age, that Christmas can be magical if it's only Santa and family that you believe in. It's not that I don't believe that worries you, it's that I don't believe what you believe.

Yes, I've contemplated forever, and it seems to be a really extreme punishment for 80 year of life, especially when god waited some 200,000 years to reveal his plan to humanity.
