My ex bf broke up with me about 4 months ago. But he still contacts be alot. Recenlty he's been sending me text messages and I respond but with short responses. I really want him back. Last time I saw him he said he still loved me a lot, but want's to be single right now and hang with his friends. Which was weird cuz while together he was the one that was taking things fast. Anyways, He knows I still love him and want him back...but will the no cantact at all bring him back faster? I'm 24 and he's 22...so I guess thats why he's still immature and doesn't know what he wants.

He will only come back when he is ready to. I would not wait for him though, most men are not ready to settle down at that age. I had the same situation with a younger guy, who actually said the same exact words to me that you ex said to you. It is almost like a mirror. Needless to say I waited for awhile and nothing changed, it was always the same excuse, yet he claimed to still love me. If he loves you, and wants to be with you, why does he want to be single? Ask yourself that. I did. Are we together now? No.

People tend to want things that they can't have. The less attention you give him the more he will probably want you back. If he finds someone new that he likes better than this technique won't even matter. It sounds like he just wants to go out a mess around some more before he get into a serious relationship.

No no no! Why would you want this guy, he is jerking your chain! He is immature, but so are you if you let him use you this way. Tell him to stop contacting you, and if he does, do not respond. At all! He knows you care and he is playing with you because he can. Respect yourself, do not let this happen!

it depends. silence can sometimes bring you back because it gives you time to re-think things, but then again .. what if he realizes not talking gives him more freedom and he actually likes it better. i think you should keep talking to him .. tell ihm how you feel

if a guy says they love you but doesnt want to be with you he is in it for *** sorry to say....................he is 22 i was such a tool when i was 22.................you should let this go he is your ex for a reason..................dont eat your own sh*t.
