would you pay for you kids drivers training?

Depends. I did, but, it was because this child was a very responsible young person, all through school, and responsible enough to work in summer to save money towards Driver's Ed and a car.

I have already paid for one child, and will have to pay for another one in about a year. It is not free in our public schools - it's very expensive. If I don't pay for it - who will? It's my responsibility as a parent as it's part of their school curriculum in our area. Now do you mean private lessons? Then no. That would really be expensive!

My parents did. However, once I got my license, I had to get a job to pay for my gas and own car insurance. It taught me to responsible and I plan on doing the same with my children.

Drivers training yes. Car insurance only half. Gas no way.

Yes, definitely. I will want my kids to be focusing on school, doing extracurricular activities of their choice and getting good grades, not having jobs already.

yes that is part of our job and is supposed to be part of the joy of watching our kids grow up.

yes a parent should..thats what parents are there for...unless that kid is 18 then they are on their own!
