Well, just be yourself and talk to him like you would to your friends. Get to know the person better before telling that person you like him.

Well if he glances at you like you say he does he must be interested in you in some kinda way! Even if you dont know someone that well its easy to get jealous/ bother you if you find out they have a GF & the GF isnt you or he didnt even consider you. You're probably thinking " whats so great about her that he doesnt see in me?, i can be like that! Maybe he's becoming more interested in you... you said that his GF is in a different town... more distant relationships are hard. If it bothers you that he has a GF you must have at least some feelings for him. I say just talk to him, flirt a little, be yourself & be confident... guys like it when a girl shows that she's confident & just see where it goes. =]

If he glances at you from across the room, it means he is just looking at you. You may be pretty obvious in crushing about him - yeah, it's bothering you that he has a GF because you would like to imagine yourself having a chance. But you need to get out of the rut, because constantly thinking about him and talking about him are not healthy. And if he is hot, he prolly has a lot of other girls crushing on him. You need to detach!

it sounds to me like u really have the hots for this guy and thats ok.But that would be the reason for your feelings of disapiontment over the girl friend. But it also sounds like u rely on other peoples information about him even if he does have a girl friend shes out of town and you know long distant relationships almost always never work out.So take a deep breath and itroduce yourself to him and get somthing started even if its just a friendship so u can get to know him first hand and u might find he likes u too

Well, first of all, if you're in 9th grade, like me, you don't say you have 'crushes"... you say you 'like him', lol.
Anyway, lol. if you want to get to know him better, try sitting by him at lunch and start conversation (and ALWAYS be yourself around him) and if you can't seem to get by him at lunch, walk with him to places and just keep talking and stuff. Basically, just try to become friends with him and if he seems to like you and he's conveniently single, don't hesitate to see if he likes you and drop hints that you want him to ask you out.
And also, if he makes you happy and you like seeing him and you blush around him and stuff, you like him.
In plain English, try to get to know him better and hopefully he'll ask you on a date or something.
*Big Tip: Being friends with him is fine, for a short time anyway, but you ALWAYS want to avoid the friend trap... so if you feel like there's any degree of permanence, I suggest you move (unless you're okay with being just friends)
Best of luck to you!
