Pagan Dan - I believe you need to look inside yourself as you have a problem. Where in my question is there any trace of superiority. Muslims do in fact believe that they get 72 virgins - why do you think stating this fact means i am mocking it.

He gets 72 prostitutes all infected with STD's and doesn't find out until he's infected himself. Each time he dies, he's reborn. With each infection, he lives for 72 days suffering, then the process starts all over again.

Fire and Torment. Muhammad (and by association, Allah) had quite a preoccupation with Hell. Most women end up there, which makes you wonder where the supply of virgins comes from.
Muhammad was mocked and rebuked by the majority of his Meccan contemporaries, and by the sounds of the things in the Quran, he used to lay awake at night devising punishments that his moon-God would inflict on those who didn't follow him. Allah is said to spend a good deal of time in Hell supervissing the roasting and ensuring that the appropriate sinners get a particularly painful punishment. This is a repetitive phrase, indicating that Muhammad, while obsessed with the sadism of his God, was a little shy on the actual imagination of how many ways you can be tormented in the afterlife.
The fact that Allah spends so much time in hell gives you a clue to his real identity. The God of the Jews never went to Hell.
And for Pagan Dan, if ever there was an idea that needs to be mocked, it's the idea that Islam is anything more than a cult that was made up by an illiterate camel herder 1400 years ago, devoid of any connection to God or judeo-christian history. Laughter is the only real defense against this sort of homicidal lunacy.

Different Muslims believe different things, but as far as I can tell they do believe in Satan and Hell.
They base their beliefs mostly on the Quran and Hadith but some believe parts of the Christian Bible, such as parts of The OT and Revelation.
They do twist it around to meet their interpretations.
Some Muslims apparently believe that their Mahdi is the rider on the white horse from Revelation.

In a conversation with my son today, I
mentioned that I rarely see Muslims on Yahoo
answers. He responded that Muslims do not
or are not supposed to discuss their religion.
I'm not sure if this is true or not, but most of
the answers and questions I see regarding Muslims
are either jokes or written from someone who is
obviously just pretending to be one.
Not saying this is the case with this question, just
an observation on several Muslim related posts.

We do not get 72 virgins in heaven ,and Yes! Our hell is very similar to the Christan one.

Although generally Hell is often portrayed as a hot steaming and tormenting place for sinners there is one Hell pit which is characterized differently from the other Hell in Islamic tradition. Zamhareer is seen as the coldest and the most freezing Hell of all, yet its coldness is not seen as a pleasure or a relief to the sinners who committed crimes against God. The state of the Hell of Zamhareer is a suffering of extreme coldness of blizzards ice and snow which no one on this earth can bear.
The lowest pit of all existing Hells is the Hawiyah which is meant for the Hypocrites and two-faced people who claimed to believe in Allah and His messenger by the tongue but denounced both in their hearts. Hypocrisy is considered to be the most dangerous sin of all despite the fact that Shirk (setting partners with God) is the greatest sin viewed by Allah. According to the Qur'an, all non-believers (non-muslims) who have received,and rejected Islamic teachings for reasons unknown, will go to Hell.
The Qur'an also says that some of those who are damned to Hell are not damned forever, but instead for an indefinite period of time. In any case, there is good reason to believe that punishment in Hell is not meant to actually last eternally, but instead serves as a basis for spiritual rectification.[5]
Even though in Islam, the devil, or shaitan, is created from fire, he suffers in Hell because Hellfire is 70 times hotter than the fire of this world. It was also said that Shaytan is derived from shata, (literally `burned'), because it was created from a smokeless fire.[6]

The HELL has seven stages each stage moves from upword to downword. It is the sweet will of ALLAH to send any body muslim/nonmuslim at any particular stage. The most bad and painfull punishment will be given to the persons at seven stage called HAVIA.So all peoples having the punishment will be togather.However after completing the sentense of punishment (the length of punishment is best known to ALLAH) they will go to JANNAH(Paradise).
