I'm a newbie and i have yet to try a spell and i have noone around here who is also wiccan. Because of that i have no idea of how spells work or what kind of outcomes they have.please tell me what kind of spells you've cast and how they work!!!Do they just happen? or do they take time?
(=D any help i can get will be very very very much appreciated)

Spend a little more time in the faith getting a good solid spiritual and moral background before you tackle and serious spell work.
ALso, root around www.witchvox.com and learn some more.

You know how you aren't suppose to tell people the wish you make? Spells are like that. It can effect the outcome. Don't talk about it until it has worked, if even then.
What kind of spell are you looking for? There are books and books full of spells at most book stores. Once you know the basics, you can make your own. Trial and error will teach you what works best for you. But, don't get too caught up on spells. If you do, you'll miss out on so much of the spirituality of Wicca.

EDIT: Gee, thanks for the warning Neil. We've never heard that from a fundamentalist Christian before. We'll be sure to all convert post haste. Do you warn all other religions that they are bad and condemned in your holy book, or just this one?

Well, not sure if you live in the San Jose, ca area, but my spiritual teacher can help answer all of your questions about the magikal arts and how to creat what you woulf love to have in your life. There is a book I highly recommend to you: Its called Solitary Magic. You can find this book at Barns & Nobel or Boarders.

I haven't really done many, but from what I've seen/heard they happen when they need to, even if it's not when you think it needs to, and work as they will. I know it sounds like a bad answer, but it's true. They'll work in the way they need to for things to work out in the way they have to. Good luck, and make sure to study before trying anything. You don't want anything to go sour!

I am not sure but I didn't think wiccan was about spells and potions. Try looking it up on-line or maybe even reading a book. Good luck

Stay away from these kind of things. All witchcraft is bad and is strongly condemned in the bible! The spirits become real and it only leads to trouble.
