A friend told me that the docter told him he had 10 years to live because he was born with a hole in his heart and the heart is very weak, but supported him till this day, so imagine struggling for all those years and at the same time knowing all that hard work will be one day a waste of time....... Made me cry when he told me but can't imagine how he feels xxxx

its either an illness that gets worse,an accident which can be instant or let you live for a while,or heart attack, stroke,a bloodvessell in your head or a disease, very rarely it can be as you explain, but 9 times out of ten thats down to ur mind, mine has often told me here we go this it and i realy thought that it was over but here i am and twice as ugly. ps even those on morphine slip away without waking up,and we dont know what thoughts they are having.

if you are talking about death, then when you are very close to death approx 48 hrs, you start to become extremely delusional because your brain releases these chemicals from your brain right before you die. and when people refer to the "light" they are referring to the vivid colors, which is caused the the chemicals.
