I've heard lots about Australia, I live here.

Climate - Australia is a big country it depends on where in the country you're talking about.

People - We're a great bunch of people.

Language - English is our official language, but many people are bi-lingual because of their background etc. (Visitors can have trouble with our slang terms but it doesn't take long to learn them and understand our way of speaking.)

Jobs - It would depend on where you live and what qualifications you have.

It's great! Come over.
People is laid back and ralxed and actually have a sense of humour and we can laugh at ourselves (unlike some of you in the USA - a fact I found out recently after asking some questions in jest here in Y!A)
Language? we speak strine. but you can easily understand it, no worries mate.

There are plenty of answers to questions similar to yours already exist here in Y!A. Do a bit of a search and you will get plenty of information.
It will also save me typing the same stuff all over again like last time.

G'day from Australia.

It's actually quite difficult to get resident status unless you either a refugee, married to an australian or you are very rich.
If you can get it, it's worth it though, it's like the USA without the guns. The other thing that is really different is that you don't see many coloured people as the colonists murdered nearly all of them. Very sad.
