It's tough, it's really really tough but to save this world from artificial destruction ( yes, Man is going to destroy it before the natural catastrophe) of this 'BEAUTIFUL PLANET'

Gandhigiri is a colloquial neologism in Bambaiya Hindi (a dialect specific to Mumbai, India) which is used to express the tenets of Gandhism (the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi which include Satyagraha, non-violence, and truth) in contemporary terms

“Its root meaning is holding on to truth, hence truth-force. I have also called it Love-force or Soul-force. In the application of Satyagraha I discovered in the earliest stages that pursuit of truth did not admit of violence being inflicted on one's opponent but that he must be weaned from error by patience and sympathy. For what appears to be truth to the one may appear to be error to the other. And patience means self-suffering. So the doctrine came to mean vindication of truth not by infliction of suffering on the opponent but on one's self ”

Gandhigiri-style protests :

Since the release of the film, there have been instances where peaceful protests were either dubbed 'Gandhigiri' or the protesters have claimed that they have been inspired by the movie. In the United States during July 2007, piles of flowers were sent to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services office by individuals who were legally in the U.S. but caught in a green card backlog. This was an act of Gandhigiri (or nonviolent protest) copied from Lage Raho Munna Bhai. There have been positive reactions to this event. The USCIS shipped the flowers to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval hospitals. A 15 July 2007 editorial in The Baltimore Sun argued, "let's hope their protest gets results - because Americans are fortunate to have living among them people who are this ingenious, and this thoughtful of others, and this capable of channeling anger into beauty."

I do agree this world will have an artificial destruction rather than by natural catastrophe.

I am one of the confused souls about Non-Violence, whether it can be relevant in today's world.

If you look at history there are countless wise human beings tried their best to bring peace amongst humans. But human beings, who are supposed to have six senses, which differentiate them from animals are behaving worse than them. Animals kill others only when they are hungry, but whereas human mind has become so corrupt, they try to destruct each other for various reasons . Money, Power, Hunger, Religion, Caste, Racial bias etc.. are increasingly becoming matters of hatred spreaders. Many don't even realise that they are doing something wrong to others, including Government Agencies.

Yes, patience means self suffering, one has to undergo humiliations and slights, unless they hit back.

Truth can be hurtful to many, which makes them to look for opportunity to hit back, rather than accept.

gandhi giri- Non Violance is not the solution of all the problems. i dont think so.

There is a famous note on it. creating violance is how much sin accepting the violance or nut utter about it aslo more sin then that of dong it. so in some friendly matters where there wont be much problem u can apply gandhi giri. but when the problem will be more, the water is over ur head then u have goahed to stop that. In that time sitting silently indicates cowardness.

It's a flawed ideology that only works in the presence of media. if their was no media coverage these peaceful protesters would get the **** kicked outta them!
