Running for 30 minutes a day is a great start but I would suggest doing some strength conditioning along with that (i.e. push-ups, lifting weights) because that will help tone and make it look like you have lost more weight. Regarding your eating habits; that's good that you're a healthy eater, keep it up! However, I wouldn't suggest eating 200-300 calories worth of chocolate ice cream a day because that can add up. If it is once in a while though (I am not sure how often you eat ice cream) it won't hurt. Everyone needs to indulge! If you are worried about the calories, just increase your workout routine to burn those off.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

4 weeks is 28 days
35 pounds is 105000 calories
1 hour running burns 550 calories
so 105000 / 550 is 190 hours of running (at 5 mph)
190hrs/28days is 6.7hours a day (maybe you could run faster for a shorter time but depends on how fast and how long you can run for)
Have Fun

You will be a twig if you lose 35 pounds. Seriously you sound fine! To tone up, just exercise 30 minutes a day.

If you just started you should start with not less than 10 minutes, because fat begins to burn after 10mins of workout. Eventually everyday you should increase to ~2~5 minutes. E.G. if you done a 10 run in monday you should to a 15 min run on tuesday. And so on and so on.
You should consider about your diet, eat less salty foods, less fats and carbs.
