Why cant god prove his existence so that those of us who are atheists or agnostics have a reason to believe in him? I mean most of us just want PROOF but he refuses to give any to us.
Its like a student who has a problem understanding something and all he needs is the teacher to help him/her but the teacher refuses to help him/her. I mean arent teachers supposed to help you learn and prepare you for when you take your tests?
So why wont god prove his existence to us that way we'll believe in him and accept Jesus so when our time comes we'll be ready? That's all we need! Some PROOF! So why does god insist on not providing any proof which will be the reason for us not believing?
Unfortunately I wasnt there when Moses split the water in two or when Jesus turned the water into wine so I cant really believe that god exists. They were lucky, they got to see a miracle first hand, but what about us? He did it before he could do it again cant he? So why wont god prove his existence?

You sound like those who demand that God must perform a miracles in order for them to believe on Him - as if it was God who needed you - which is actually like demanding a women strip for you before you decide you marry her. Like a women's full beauty is supposed to be (before marriage), truth is veiled, and only those who really seek it are capable of appreciating it. Seeking prepares the heart for receiving.
God does provide evidence that He exists, and if you honestly seek Him, you will find more, enough to make a qualified step of faith.
And in addition to an exceedingly complex creation that speaks of a Designer and other evidences, here is just a little of some of the abundant empirical evidence, of effects that corresponds to the claims of their Cause, and are dependent upon faith and obedience to Him, which in scope and criteria are overall unique.

What a difficulty in this world of ours today, isn't it? Around 10% of the world is an Atheist or Agnostic these days. Many people give up on God because he will not "reveal himself to us" or just simply "doesn't care if we believe or to". Let me explain something. I am asked this question alot, so allow me to say that God is everywhere, any time of day, but for some people he appears to not show himself to people. The idea is that if you care enough for religion and of your recurring faith, you will search hard enough for a sign. You cannot just pray the words that he will give you a sign, you have to believe it. You can't just ride off something because it isn't miraculous enough for you, after all, God has to rule the entire world, with over 6 billion people! So just hang in there, because whether or not you will believe it or not, he will reveal himself to you in any form he chooses, whenever he chooses. But if you have faith, you will find him. Don't just expect because you ask for a miracle for faith purposes that you will get one. After all, faith is believing without seeing, right? >_0

Because the God of those days was made to control a people. Now, at least in a lot of our world, we're able to create a functional society without instilling the fear of 'god' into people.
Just believe what you want and don't worry about it. If you have doubts you can always enjoy the brain you were given to explore other options - you know, think for yoursef, all of that. Did you know many people do believe i god, and don't believe in the bible??? Yup, it is possible. It's even possible to believe in evolution and god. It's true. Really. At the same time even!

I believe it would probably defeat the entire purpose of free choice. And I think you are making demands on god. That is not the way to obtain any proof that will be of value. Expand your understanding to include completely being in the present and you may find clues that are not merely flights of fancy.

Yeh! I mean sheesh! I mean sure He came down as Jesus to Earth but that isn't good enough for me! Why, I order, I DEMAND God appear before me RIGHT NOW! And if he doesn't then...then....then I will wag my finger at Him!

Again? Penn and Teller can do the water into wine thing. The true believers will tell you they need no proof, only faith. And atheists don't waste their time looking for proof of something they know isn't there.

He had died. We have created him couple of milleniums ago and he lived apon our firm beliefs without doubt for him. He started to get ill from lack of nutritions a couple of centuries ago. Then he died, presumably about 1.5 centuries ago. We had too much evidence to doubt him. He was created by us and killed brutally by our hands. We had starved him to death!
And since he had died, he can't come up to prove his existence even if he wanted to.
