He was a great Gator (professor of medicine at UF) and a great Lutheran.

He will be missed immensely.

Luci: The reason for this post is because I graduated from UF and am Lutheran...and Dr Cade donated a huge sum to my high school and I have always been in awe of the man.

Actually, I did. A Lutheran Gator told me.

I'm sure that he is, at this moment, being escorted to that special room in heaven where God keeps all the Lutherans...so they can be watched more closely.

Let's raise a glass of Gatorade to his memory.
