my grandma used to ship us boxes of homemade goodies every year. go buy some nice holiday type plastic box or tin (they have them at the dollar store and Walmart) wrap your goodies in wax paper before putting it in your holiday box, then put in a regular box and fill with paper or foam, and just ship it! overnight isn't necessary, but you don't' want it to take 10 days either!

I would freeze it so it is nice and cold. I don't think it goes gray like plain chocolate when you do that. Then I would put it into the container of your choice. Wrap that in newspaper. I would repeat that several times and than put into a box and either fedex or UPS it next day. But don't ship to hot states for that you would need to include dry ice.

to prevent breakage, i'd cut it into pieces then wrap each one very well as fudge can can brittle in a short period of time. pack well with tissue or foam peanuts.
