hi! i am interested in buying a ps3 but there very expensive in ireland,i found a site but its in china and i e-mailed the company,they said it was european compatible,CPU Cell Broadband Engine

this is the information on the product but i cant understand if he is telling the truth!! he said i can pay with bank transfer or paypal but paypal takes 18days?? even if it is a hong kong version-will it work here?

they said the voltage is 220v-240v,he said it works in ireland but i dunno if i can trust them?? if the voltage is 220-240 does that mean it is a european system? becausei would like to watch dvds on it?

Technical details are correct. Just ask them about the voltage and region. PS3 games are multiregion, but PS1/2 games and movies aren't. Hong Kong is a NTSC J region. Probably, you;ll need a power converter. You'll need a good, heavy converter, which provides 500W of power.

Well first of all all ps3's are the same except for the harddrive capacity and i don't see why it won't work but i'm not 100% sure and anyways a xbox 360 has better games and it costs less, go to www.xbox.com to find out but i don't think they sell European xboxes or you could just buy a adapter from amazon.com that could stay plugged in non-stopthey are 1000-3000 watts.
