My cousin was murdered and he was only 23 years old ,but he touched so many people. Now that he is gone it feels like life just can't move forward without him. Will the pain ever go away?

You are all affected by this and it doesn't help to ignore the feelings you are going through. You all might want to get together to talk about your feelings and how you are all affected by what happened. If you need someone to help do this, pick the most objective of the family or an outsider who might be able to help you all talk about it. Have the kleenex there. It should be okay to cry and talk about it. After you do this, it needs to continue to be okay to talk about it. In time, you will do better. You are changed by what happened. But, the drastic feel of the change will lessen with time. This happened in our family, only he had just turned 17 and he was my sister's only child. It was very tough. Have pictures around of him and talk to him. You also might want to consider going to a grief support group. Hospice organizations do this for anyone who has lost someone. There may be other groups in your community too.

You should tell your family to let go the past when is haunted of your family alot .If your family did not let it go. Your family have suffer pain still going inside. And can worse happen like your family mental will easy be injury. It harmful way of keeping pain too much in heart and wounds will grow large .soon your family will be sick by mental psychical problem. You sholud tell them . Thing is alway happen alot in the furture.Like human can't be decide what happen the furture destiny going . .Just let it past happen away.. And get your new furture by begginning start whole year. Breathe more air to reflesh your mind to relax. By doing yoga or exercise in park or outlet going family vacation . It help alot to relax your mind . when you need to ask me. just email my address.

It'll get better once you realize that he is in a better place. He came into your life for a reason and his purpose was fufilled now he is in paradise. I know that doesnt help much because i have been there but things will get better and you will get closure. just think of all the good times and try to be what he was. try to be that to someone else do that for him. he deserves it. Im sure he would want you to keep living happy

You will heal I know it seems hard but you have to move on he will never magicly come back to life you can still keep him in your heart.
