Since I'm in 8th Grade.....Try these
1. If he is nice drop your books in front of him.. he'll help you
2. If you know his hobbies talk to your friends near him loudly about how much you love it
3: EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: DO NOT ASK HIM OUT ONLINE(DO IT IN PERSON) AND DONT TELL A FRIEND TO DO IT FOR YOU

The only thing an 8th grade (possible 13 or 14 yr old boy will want with a girl that's possibly 11 or 12?...is what's in her pants.
I have 13 nieces, all teenagers who have been manipulated by boy after stupid boy that is older. I'm not saying that his intentions would be bad, but the outcome may be if you're not careful! Find out more about him other than just his name and keep your pants on girly. Take things SLOW and remember that anyone you meet now will 99.9% certainly not be a part of your life for very long. It's rare to find "the one" in Jr. High. Be safe, keep your guard up no matter what your heart tells you and be smart about it!

Ah! young love! well, my advice to you would not be to stalk him, but when you see him see what he's like and see if he exhibts good habits, language, personality, etc... then, if you were ever to talk to him, don't be a giddy girl please or use words that you think make you sound older, coz then you just look really stupid and'll be called a wanna be. just act like yourself around him, and don't be discouraged coz he'll look at you as a sixth grader no matter what be cause he's 13 and... yeah, well, anyways don't be in his face or anything... also i would wait awhile like a year or two just until you hit your teens(or ur in highschool don't worry, its not that far off lemmie tell you) to really seriously think about a relationship (meaning if your crush was just a crush or it was da real thing). Also, WHEN YOU ARE OLDER i suggest playing hard to getXD i mean come on girlie! i guy should come to you coz ur like the best person in the world, not the other way around!
oh yeah, if you just be yourself in front of him and he doesn't seem interested, then hunney, he's not good enough for you!
Godd luck!
(Trust me, waiting PAYS off! i had a crush on a freshman in high school whe n i was in 7th grade, and two years later he asked me out, and we've been goin steady for about a year now! (i'm a sophmore)
Don't worry, 6th 7th and 8th grade fly by like you'd never imagine! Though even being a freshie in highschool is a tad bit early but oh well! A girl's gotta have her fun!

Do you have any mutual friends?
When you are in 6th grade, there is too much of a maturity difference. Try finding a guy in your grade. If you still like him when you hit high school, things will be totally different.

you're in 6th grade so you're going to have a huge crush on an eighth grader, the only way he'll notice you is if you make an effort, but sadly i think he would prefer someone his age. it would probably be more likely if you were both in high school.

Wait, what's your question? I think you should just spend time with him and get him to like you by being there for him. Of course by the time you spend enough time with him, he'll probably be a junior in high school.

So I'm guessing your in 6th grade. Forget him. He's older and probably more expierenced. And if he doesn't even know your name...well then! But all you know is his name and nothing about him. You should get to know him first if anything.

i agree, your too young, and if you only think hes cute, dont expect anything but a strange reaction from him...usually age matters less as you get older, but boys that age are way immature and are asses, hes almost in highschool, and you JUST got into middle school...sorry to be a negitive nancy, but thats how i went though middle school...*just giving you a heads up, but boys are way too immature* w8 for one to come to u..

you'll never no if you dont take the leap girl..
walk toward him and just say hi.. start a small convo, if he's interested, he'll keep it going. If not, what do you have to lose? lucky for you you're still young.
best wishes ;-)
