Well NZ would be your cheapest option - not sure on your budget... and of course if you want to live there you don't need to go through any immigration paperwork. South Island is much nicer than the North.

Well, any flight out of Australia is going to be expensive unfortunately. This may seem boring, but maybe New Zealand? If you don't have much money.....that is a tough situation and I am in it right now. I'd go to the U.K. if I could, but I am broke and have responsibilites I can't leave. I feel for you, hon.
