Is it worth it to pay more for the Bluesboy?

Piezo pickups are designed to be pressure-sensitive and used on acoustic guitars. A "wound" pickup is a whole different animal - and will NOT work if you use certain kinds of strings. You are comparing apples to pineapples. Also, don't think that the more you spend the better the sound - that is NOT always true. If I sell you the same kind of pickup for double what they usually cost will that make them sound better? It also depends on what YOU like - some people like single-coil pickups, and some like "humbuckers" - its all personal preference. The JAG's might be nice, but they are a different type of pickup than a piezo pickup.

You can't beat a hand-wound pickup particularly if it's wound to your specifications. No contest, unless you can find a "bundled" set that fit your tonality requirements to a "T."

The more you pay the better the sound. I am from Memphis and we know how to play the blues. I also play harmonica. I may do a u tube. Look for Messin' mama. I have played on Beale Street. Dig the blues from way back( 35 years).I hope you are from the south!!!
