The worst holiday food has got to be those heavy, door stop fruit cakes, next is the brussels sprouts that some people insist on serving at holiday diners.

I would have to agree with you; FRUITCAKE! Ewww! That stuff is nasty...I will admit though, most of us have probably been jaded by the taste of fruitcake because we've never had homemade fuitcake, which is probably much different. However, I can still think of so many other desserts I'd rather eat than that stuff. How about some cheesecake with fresh homemade berry and pomegranate juice topping with whip cream? Mmmm yummy, just as fattening , but way more delicious :)
Some would say the worst holiday drink is Egg Nog, but oh I beg to differ, it's yummy, and it makes the best holiday cafe lattes ever.
yowigginz, Oh my god, you don't like pumpkin pie??? My waistline increases at least an inch every year because of that stuff. Luckily I lose the pounds with exercise afterwards though

OK, maybe this is a Northwest Ohio thing, but we eat a casserole dish called "Tomato Pudding", and it is GROSS. It's made with stale bread, tomato soup, brown sugar, and other things...my older family members love it, but it makes me nauseous. The other thing I hate that appears at holiday time is kielbasa...what is wrong with my people?
