like every time I get a boyfriend I lose him because my dad says (no dating til your married) and i'm like that does'nt make since and he's like it does in his world.

He wants to keep you as his little girl forever because he loves you and doesn't want to see you get hurt. He also probably thinks no guy is good enough for his daughter.
He is just protecting you. And he is probably a little jealous that you want to spend time with other guys and not him. I know a lot of dad's like that.

Parents want to watch out for their kids.
A lot of kids want to start dating way too young and parents choose to act in their kid's best interest and not allow it.

No one knows better what boys are like then your dad. He was one himself, remember, and so he knows what they are after. Your father wants you to finish your education,be on track for your future and not be distracted by a "boyfriend". Depending on your age, I as a mother, would be doing the same thing. Concentrate on your education - please your father, as he was the "giver" of your life.
