I'm 14 year old freshman. My room is in desperate need of a huge change. Right now the walls are light pink and so are my curtains. My furnature is white and my bed is honey colored. I've been thinking of using a theme. I'm really into acting and theatre so maybe a Broadway theme. Or a NYC or Paris theme. I know I might get tired of it but in four years I'll be outta here. Another idea I had was have my room completely white with a few things that are a single color. Any ideas?

Don't do all white - very difficult to make it look good.
1] what are your two or three fav colors, that come in a relaxing shade?
a] get your favorite shade for bedding and drapes, or a print of two/three favs
b] paint walls the lightest shade of print, or your second fav
color
c] use third shade for accents - lamps, flowerpots, toss pillows, ornaments, vases, candles/holders.
2] suggest posters of fav Broadway shows - maybe two on one wall and three on another [ could do same for NYC or Paris prints ].
Maybe you could use the colors from your fav poster or print.

How about a old Broadway theme and have your room completely black and white with maybe a touch of red such as the pillows

find some new bedding you like and revolve it around that. you can freshen up your furniture also by painting it all white, make some new drapes (super easy if you have a sewing machine) a nice rug, pillows, framed posters, new lamp shades. find stuff you may still like later so you can take it with you when you move out!
