I've had my account "suspended". I mean deleted (maybe). My 360, my email, my IM, my Yahoo! Answers, and my own "page" got suspended. I know who got me suspended, and I know why. I was too young, though I actually wasn't. My old account I shared with my 11 year old friend. She was almost 12 and told everybody so! I was 13, and still am. Anyway, one user didn't like it and repeatedly reported me because I was too young. They also thought I had wrong information ALL the time because of one question. I was level 4, Top Contributor. Then, to top it all off this persons other account or "friend" answered my old accounts still open question and insulted me while getting best answer! Well, I didn't appeal, I didn't know how. It said "you need a code" or something like that and I had no idea WHAT code. Anyway, I haven't had a reply from them, and I don't know who Jilibean is. lol. Oh, and always hide your contacts, and Q/A. Make another email account so if you "forget" your account ID or Password they can send it to you. Also, write it down. That way you can tell if it was deleted, or you just forgot.

I KNOW!!!!!

I lost my old account, just a couple of weeks ago.

I'm still getting best answers, new contacts, emails about my questions being resolved.. all of it. And I'm fxcking tired of it! THEY took my account, unfairly considering most of my "violations" didn't violate any rules; they were just the Report Monkeys acting up again.

I don't see what the whole thing with suspension is, anyhow. Don't they realize I'll just make a new account, no matter how many times they report me?? They might as well save themsevles the trouble of suspending me, and let me keep my account.

In addition, I really wish I had SOME kind of record of my questions. I have a file with some of them, but not most. The answers I can live without, but the questions, I'd like to have been able to keep.

In addition, what's with the term "suspension?" Have they never grasped the English language to the extent at which they'd notice that "suspend" is to TEMPORARILY subject unattainable or unaccessable?

Apparently not.

Once it's gone, it's gone for good, and few can get them back.

..Okay. I'm calmed down again. :P

I don't get how it works. I got bored with this one day and decided to see what I could get away with. I copied and paste the same answer which had nothing to do with any question into a bunch of questions. I received several violations for it but I'm still here. Ive also been violated by yahoo (Sounds quite kinky doesn't it) on many occasions yet have not had my account deleted.
There should be a violation tally so we can see when we have to start behaving ourselves. How many DOES it take?

My old account was level 7 and I was a Top Contributor. I kept getting "best answer" on questions for days after they suspended me. I still occasionally get a bonus point or two for old "best answers" that folks see and like so they give them "thumbs up."

Yeah, it sucks having to start over from the bottom but, hey, in just a month I've managed to work my way up to level 4 again and I am Top Contributor again.

They can hurt us, they can hate us, they can suspend us but they cannot DEFEAT us. Death to YaHELL!

I think dukalink6000 knows that better than anyone else. He's had best answer emails sent to him almost everyday since his 350,000 point-account got suspended last February.

I have yet to experience it myself, but I know that is inevitable here with all the strict rules, & even though I cannot connect with you that way, I can imagine what it must be like .. I am sorry for your loss ..

No I have not had that experience- what I do hate is when they doc me points and remove a question because the profile for the best answer has been removed, or when they doc me points or remove my answer on a question where the asker has been removed- that is irritating. Simply answering a question violates nothing.
