there's this friend of mine that i'm in love with, and she knows it... i've told her a few times over e-mail, and i've asked her out (she said she's sworn off all guys)but i just want to know if it would freak her out if i walked up to her in class and told her i loved her... i want to do it because i want to see if she cares or not (i can tell by looking her in the eyes, dont ask for details as to how... i dont even know)

This might be a bit child like and I don't think you want to give her this impression. If you really like her, just respect her and never embarrass her or yourself.

if u really want 2 do it, at least go somewhere private where u can be alone and talk 2 her 1-on-1. i wouldn't come straight out and tell her that u love her but instead ask her how she truly feels about u & see what she says. if she says she sees u as just a friend, ask if there is any chance that she could see u as more than that. i would not suggest telling her flat out that u love her. at the least, just say that u have feelings for her & u would really like the chance of having a relationship with her

You should do it. If she doesn't like/love you you should get over her, possibly. But Maybe she does and is really shy or something or wants to keep her feelings for you secret. or...she just wants to keep the friendship that the two of you share just how it is.

i would say go for it and tell her but be prepared for rejection and for your realationship to change after you tell her..it may be awkward after...good luck
