No you will not, global warming is not really what you are told it is. It is just the natrual cycle of the planet.

Yes, you'll be forced into feeling guilty for everything you do. Driving, eating, drinking, heating, cooling, breathing, farting, thinking, looking, and the list goes on. Man made global warming is a crock. Do a little research on people who oppose it and you'll find a list of scientists a mile long.. but don't let anyone know you did this as you'll certainly be outcasted as one of the many names they will call you. This planet has gone through so many climate cycles that warming or cooling is inevitable. Take a look at the genius meteorologists that "predict" hurricanes at the beginning of the season and you'll consistently find that if they are accurate 50% of the time, this is great. When was the last time your local weather person made predictions that were grossly incorrect?? Whate did man do to reverse the ice ages??? Nothing.. it just happened. This world is rotating around a sun that directly impacts our weather.. we are moving in space.. nothing is static... things change.. You'll hear about the scientific concensus of global warming but a consensus is NOT science. There is a consensus of scientistis that DON'T believe in global warming.. but you'll rarely hear about them. The squeeky wheel syndrome. Sorry you're going to change your life for these kooks. You should really get the facts or at least get more of your information at reliable sites.. Good luck to you.. if you're thinking like this, you're really going to need it... Research and think for youself..

There are no dangerous effects of global warming, only benefits. Global cooling is what you should be worried about, because it is predicted to occur, and the next three decades will almost certainly see a dramatically cooler climate.

You'll experience a "The World Is Ending" scare about every 7 years. Get used to it and just let it pass. The kool-aide drinkers will be out again sometime again in the near future.

That depends on what we do about it.
We still have time to avoid the worst effects of global warming if we reduce our greenhouse gas emissions significantly and soon. Scientists have determined that we need to stop increasing our emissions by 2015 and reduce them by about 80% by 2050.
If we manage this, then we'll probably avoid the most dangerous effects. If we don't, then when we start to feel the effects still depends on how much we've reduced our emissions. The more we reduce them, the longer we'll postpone the worst effects.
Regardless, we're bound to see increased extreme weather events such as droughts and heat waves. We'll have to learn how to use our resources appropriately to deal with these weather events.
Generally speaking, if we don't reduce our greenhouse gas emissions very much, we'll start to see the worst effects of global warming somewhere between 2050 and 2100. You might start to see them toward the end of your life, and your child most likely will be affected.
For the record, wingshooter's answer is just copied from Tim Ball, who lies about his credentials. He claims to be the first Canadian PhD in climatology and a climate science professor, but his degree is in geography and he was a geography professor. He is not a climate science expert.

yes within your life time you will see much change as global warming takes hold so to will all the weather patterns this is why we are seeing more natural catstrophies in all maners
look at the way we are burning all of mans resources at an astounding rate there is not going tobe much left for our childrens children we dont seem to have much respect for the planet we live on and you are saying how fast it will change real fast and we should all prepare for it

No that is under age for Global Warming
you have to be at least 25
but don`t let the end of the world be q deterent of having a child
better to have lived a short time than not at all
and what about if it could be saved to continue your blood .on another planet or wearing bearskin robes in the ice age that may follow the drought.
<<<<<<<
so it will be easy
but in many third world countries babies can already experience it.
However the price of beer may go up ,because of potable water shortage
and food prices may rise because the third world slave countries got lots of problems due to Global Warming.
on e degree rise in temperature means 10% crop loss-
In Chiapas ,and Tabasco in Mexico .more then a million people became homeless overnight with water coming up to their roofs ,because of rains from super evaporation from the forests, this had never happened before.
Millions of animals died and the crocodile ,who are abundant in that area were delighted.
In India 3000 people died because of super storms .
Right now the average death toll annually is 150.000 due to Global warming
a few years ago a whole bunch in France as well.
these figures are already out of date and are expected to double soon.
In Northern China millions of people are running for their lives because regular dust storms so far have buried 900 villages under the sand
and the whole of northern China is turning into a dessert.
The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year all around the edges ,like a slow burning fire shriveling up their neighbors
In the Kalahari huge rivers have dried up and thousand of species are gone due to their habitats disappearing
when the north pole is gone , you may have polar bears soon in America ,looking for a home ,as the bollweavel sings.

When I was 19 all the scientists and environmentalists swore we were coming into an ice-age which would freeze everything. Be kind to the earth but don't worry so much.

Yes.
It won't be a Hollywood movie style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.
For you, in a rich country, it won't threaten your life. But the expense of dealing with it will certainly threaten your economic health. It will be a lot cheaper to take action sooner, rather than later.
