This illustrates the problems Israel has in negotiating any kind of true, lasting peace. The Palestinians swear they want peace but then they protest when the leaders gather to try and resolve the conflict.
Meanwhile, some Palestinians are still busy launching rockets at Israeli towns. It's very frightening for the Israelis, the children especially, when giant rockets keep landing and then exploding so nearby.
And all the while, the Israelis keep giving Gaza free water, fuel, water, and electricity even as the rockets from Gaza keep landing and exploding.
The world often condemns Israel without even understanding what she's dealing with. Hamas, the terrorist party that the Palestinians elected to represent them, has said that Abbas does not speak for them and that they still want to destroy Israel.
Whatever the Israelis offer, it's still not enough. Sometimes I really do think that only obliterating Israel will make the Palestinians happy. G-d forbid it should ever even come close to this.
EDIT TO BEER DRINKING LEMUR
Why should we leave Israel when our history and connection to the land goes back further than either Muslims or Christians?
We ask only that this tiny bit of land, less than 0.01 % of the Middle East, be allowed to exist in peace. That's all.

Perhaps they believe that their views are not being properly represented by those who are attending. If the US was represented at the UN by a KKK member you would probably protest it wouldn't you? Palestine is a VERY divided country - those who support Hamas and those who support Fatah do not get on, and are only really united by their dislike of Israel.
As for "relocationg" this has not worked in any point in history. Never. The Scots being "relocated" from the Highlands to make way for sheep made them hate England even to this day. The Palestinians being "relocated" from their lands in the 40s made them hate Israel. The Ukranians being reolcated from their lands by the Soviets made them hate their political masters.
Besides - it's not ALL of palestine protesting. You will always get some hardliners who will utterly refuse to speak with the enemy (look at Ian Paisley for instance), they do not necesarily represent the opinions of the majority - or even a significant minority.

Best Idea I have read in decades.
The question would it work and the answer is no! As it didn't work in Lebanon for the Palestinians were classed as second rate citizens, this in-itself goes to show that racial tensions exist within the infrastructure of the Islamic religion. ROFL on that one.

It's amazing how 'religion' has mucked this up.
If religion wasn't involved the two parties would just divide the land in two and roll but because they each claim divine right the war as continued.
I've never heard of a land-fight lasting 2000 years except one that has religious implications.

What about the U.S.? We promote peace but invade other countries? Pakistan has Nuclear power but we stay away from them? Iran is searching for nuclear capability, but Pakistan, North Korea, Russia, China, etc already have it. Should we invade China or Russia? They used to be threats to our Nation? No, we trade with them like a civilized country should. The same should be done with Iran.

It is odd to see a "peace protest" that is protesting peace.

You're "relocation" proposition is no more peaceful then when Hitler suggested the same of the Jews. It is common to want to eliminate views contrary to our own.
