This is often a simple problem that has to do with the muscles being out of shape. Try doing kegel exercises. When you don't have a full bladder, do the action of peeing and then stopping. No one will know that you're doing it, so you can pretty much work these muscles all day at work, or wherever you are. You can also do this when you're on the toilet. Many women practice this while pregnant, as it helps to avoid problems like this, as well as making delivery easier.

If that doesn't solve the problem in a few weeks, it could be a more serious problem with the tissues around your bladder...It's not uncommon for them to stretch out and lose their flexibility. There is a fairly new surgical procedure that can be done arthroscopically, which involves inserting a "sling" to hold everything up where it's supposed to go. Your doctor can give you more information on that procedure.

I'd see a doctor because that usually indicates a small/weak bladder. I DO know however that doing Kegel's exercises regularly helps TREMENDOUSLY with this (have heard all positive reactions from people who have tried this for your problem).

Practice your kegals to help strengthen your pelvic floor. Its like little squeezes in your nether regions. Do them throughout the day, every day and it should help.

these answers must of come from very young girls....but never fear....their day is coming too. Most woman's bladders weaken with age, and having babies. See your doctor, you can have your bladder lifted, there are medications out there, and do kegel exercises to strengthen that area.
