NEVER happened. Humans would have gone extinct within 10 generations... The mutations caused from inbreeding would destroy us.

The bible doesn't say that God didn't create other people during that time.
Besides, Adam and Eve lived long lives. They had Seth and probably many other children. They could have even married nieces, siblings, etc. Cain married and most likely had children, too. The gene pool was pretty pure back then, so no danger of passing on bad traits.

Scripture does not tell us that it was only Adam & Eve & Cain & Abel. We do not know with any certainty who Cain's wife was. Some scholars believe it was Abel's twin sister, but I find no biblical support for that view. All we know is that God provided a wife or wives for Cain, and for Abel as well, and children were born to both unions. It also appears that Cain and Abel were not the sole offspring of Adam and Eve..

The typical answer to this from Biblical scholars is that
a) Adam & Eve had additional children who don't happen to be named in the Bible (certainly a possibility, given how seldom women and daughters are mentioned by name)
and
b) Other humans existed elsewhere, as evidenced by Cain's lament that he would be treated as a murderer in exile from the Garden of Eden... where he eventually picked up a wife.

Your "IF" is incorrect. If you read a bit further, you see they had other children.
Genesis 5:4-5 The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of sons and daughters. (5) All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died.
BTW - evolutionists like to bring up incest problems. The first whatever evolutionists believe started life would have had incest also.

The Bible says they had many sons and daughters. Seth was born when Adam and Eve were 130 years old. They could have had great, great, great, great grand children by then-and lots of them.

Probably a daughter of Eve and Cain and/or Able. Just because the bible doesn't mention daughters doesn't mean that there weren't any. When you see all those so-an-so BEGAT so-and-so do you ever see any women in those lists. No. This is because the society that wrote these were very patriarchal and only followed bloodlines through MALE decendants.

Bible does not talk about other children of Adam. And it is said that Caim went to Nod.
Genesis 4:16
Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
This verse opens many interpretation but clarifies that there was much more then Bible talks. GOD didn't put everything in the Bible but what is needed for mankind to know.
Hope this will help you...

The non-literalness of the story of Adam and Eve is readily apparent. The writer is attempting to convey man's fall from grace in an easily digestible form. The story's moral is to be grasped firmer than the fanciful physical details.
