This is a FUN question, not to be taken seriously.
This is based on Christianity and Jesus

The world's current population 6,633,911,272 with current % of Christians in the world approx 30% or 2 billion.

Let's approximate that man has been on this planet for 100,000 years.

Let’s say per year, 200 million people go to the Christian heaven a year (10%) and have done so the past 1900 years. These are ESTIMATES!

1900 years * 200 million dead Christians = There is a TOTAL of 380 billion in Heaven.

Keeping the percentage’s constant, if 30% of the world’s population is in heaven, then 70% of the world’s population is in hell.

There are currently 4,643,737,890 NON-Christians. If 10% of these people are dying a year then:

100,000 years * 464,373,789 million dead NON-Christians = 46,437,378,900,000 in hell.

In conclusion
46,437,378,900,000 or 46.4 trillion people in hell.
380,000,000,000 billion people in Heaven

Silly huh?

Haha, to the 10% question, only 10% of Christian DIE a year and therefore go to heaven. The other 90% are still here indoctrinating children.

And to the incorrect math comment, YOU come up with an easy equation to estimate the total numbers.

Didn't you watch the South Park movie...

The population of Heaven (shown by a large billboard) is FIXED at something like 1,516 - while the population of Hell (shown by a rapidly scrolling "scoreboard" style counter) is in the range of 12,753,569,063,691, and CONSTANTLY growing ;););););)

Mucho silly-o. For many of the "1900" years there was nowhere near 200 million people living on the planet, let alone 7 billion. Ease up on the bong, dewd.

Heaven and Hell are not physical places, in the sense of say, your mom's basement. The size of them is not limited by physical constraints. There is infinite space in the Universe.

Perhaps playing Dark Side of the Moon in reverse while rewinding Wizard of Oz will enlighten you.

So let me get this right....
According to you 30% of the population is Christian, but only 10% of the population goes to heaven? What happened to the other 2/3 of the Christians?

You may want to reconsider your numbers....

i dont think thats right. i think theres a lot more in hell. why do christians assume they are going to heaven when they have done nothing for it?
i am pagan, but lets say (hypothetically) i died and got to pearly gates with a shocked expression on my face. i quickly realize the terrible truth that something senseless is true. i quickly and willingly go to hell to be with my people. im too proud to even want to go to heaven, even though hell is rather crowded.

Funny??

Yeah, that's what you think.

But you're not gonna be laughing when you realize you've made the wrong choice in making fun of it all. Only God knows the numbers of both. and btw, fyi, the Earth HAS NOT been around for NEAR that long.

Not really. It is exactly what Jesus said would happen. Check it out. "Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and FEW there be that find it." - Jesus (Book of Matthew).

Again. "And the disciples asked Jesus 'are there FEW that be saved?' And Jesus replied 'Strive to enter in at the straight gate for MANY will try but FEW will be able.'" (Book of Luke)

Jesus is spot on. Please repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus to save you as you would a parachute. Your eternal destiny rests on this decision.
