Is there such a thing as "The Truth"? Maybe you know someone that you think is fat and ugly. So you tell him "Hey, you're fat and ugly!" What's wrong with that? It's the truth isn't it? No. It's just your opinion and it's a hurtful opinion. I needed to make that distinction before I can give a real answer. Some of the things that you might label "the truth" are in fact only your own opinions.
But in the (perhaps rare) case where you see a real truth that someone else does not see, you may have to prove that what you say is actually true. The agreements of other people can strengthen your arguments, but are usually not actual proof.
Now, in the case of a widely-accepted truth--something almost everyone agrees on--that a very few people are willing to accept, you may still have to prove the truth of your statements.
If you can prove a statement to be true and a person still does not accept it, then that person is for some reason more comfortable with whatever delusions they have. There's not much you can do about that except to give up on that person's sanity and walk away.

When people take offense to anything, they are usually threatened in some way- or at least this is what non-believers tell Christians when they are "offended"= however I really feel that when the truth is told, people will do one of a couple of things-
1- they will respond to the truth- and because of that have a life changing experience, especially if the truth is Christ
2- deny that there is anything that is absolute truth
or 3- take offense because that way they do not have to look at the truth of the matter,

Truth is like a two edge sword!
It cuts both ways.
If a human being has a rock solid "ego" being offended comes easily.
If a human being has gained control over the insatiable "ego" then not becoming offended is similar to the process of water rolling off of a ducks back.
It is most important for humans that wish to know and experience the Truth, to learn "Patience and Tolerance", for these are the tools that allow humans to not become easily offended!

May we all learn to understand and accept Truth!

"Peace be always with you.",

human beings get indignant once you tell the fact approximately some issues simply by fact they already understand the respond yet do no longer go with to different than the fact or they're in denial.Telling the information approximately something is variety of a slap in the face to a pair human beings insted of proving you incorrect that they had particularly act insulted or indignant.some everybody is gust unusual, and the asserting is going "the fact hurts." yet "the fact will set you unfastened."

Because truth hurts when we think we have it but we find out we dont and people let us know that.

Anyway to say "I have the truth" is a very serious thing and I have met a few people that can say that

I don't have a problem with hearing the truth. I have a problem when someone shoves their version of the truth down my throat and condemns me to hell if I question their version.

So I guess my question for you would be ... what do you define as "truth"? Are you talking spiritually (which I assume you are, given where you posted) or generally?
