As within a microwave oven, microwave radiation causes molicules to vibrate and heat up. Gobal warming has seamingly increased in the last 30 years, around the same time we have been sending more satilates into space for mobile communications, radio dishes and mobile phone masts, and Wi fi. Pigeons flying in the path of radio dishes can be instantly cooked, so with all these's signals and radio waves, there must have an effect, in heating up the atmosphere.

I hadn't thought about it but yes it would warm up the atmosphere somewhat. I used to be a rambler in my youth and we were warned not to approach TV or radio mast closely for this reason.

Whether this is significant in actually causing Global Warming is open to conjecture.

I am glad you are thinking about global warming but the heat given off in the radio waves is insignificant compared with the heat given off manufacturing, transporting and operating these devices. But even more significant by a long way is the greenhouse warming caused by the CO2 given off in the manufacture, transportation and operation of these and other devices.

Global warming will only be curbed when we stop buying so much stuff and begin travelling by walking, pedalling and using public transport.

Fortunately a simpler lifestyle is more fun than trying to keep up with the neighbours.

Best wishes

The heating from all those sources combined is so small as to be nothing compared to what would be needed to account for the observed warming.

i think myself it is not anything to do with us on the planet,it is something to do with the sun there as been a lot of activity from the sun in the last few years with electronic storms these send electric pulses out they come through space and hit the earth they come through the atmosphere along with radio active particles causing the ups and downs with our weather and our environment.
