I was drunk with some friends,
and my friend's girlfriends said,
"You look like you could be gay."
I asked, "Why"?
She said, "Cause you are good looking, and usually guys who look like you are gay, like so and so... who are so hot..."
WTF
Is her statement even valid; is this normally true, like she said?

No, that is just a nasty comment girls who haven't had luck getting good looking guys say.
If a girl is resentful over being rejected by the type of guys she wants, especially when they want other types of girls, then her nasty way of dealing with that is just referring the guy, or any guy that is so good looking as gay.

I'm not sure if it's true or not. But you talk a lot about your looks and you seem to know that your a nice looking guy so disregard the gay part and as long as you know who you are then all is good. Her opinion shouldn't make you wonder if it's a valid statement or not. I am sure that there are some good looking gay men and some not so good looking ones as with all people. Buy the way did you know that drinking is not good for your health and if you do it for to long then you'll know for sure that I am not just telling you this to pick on you or judge you .Drinking to much really can in the long run cause some serious damage to your body! Its just a stereotype. Since gay men have feminine tendancies and take care of themselves more people assume all metro guys are gay. Also there is a rumor that the chippendale guys are all gay, which although some may be, is mostly a rumor. You may just be really clean cut and attractive and that is why she said that.

WTF exactly! This is so not true all the time. Most gay men typically have an eye for fashion and take meticulous care of themselves.....but I have seen many who don't also. You are what you are and no-one can change you. Please do not become self-conscious and try to change....obviously you have made an impression on these girls. Take it as a compliment and be proud of who you are. Seems to me they have nothing else to do but critique others....perhaps a mirror would be good thing for them to look into before speaking out loud again. :)

Maybe she likes you and she sees this as a safe way to express it (in a non threatening manner to your friend).
gay guys are usually well put together and in touch with their feelings so thats not necessarily a bad thing. Don't stress it.

Laugh about it. Say: "maybe Im a classy guy who likes to look good". " Whats wrong with that?"if you get mad then she'll think you are gay because your being defensive.
