4 Mile Track Work
Jog - 1 mile in 7:00 - 8:00
Three sets of:
Sprint-1/4 mile as fast as you can
Jog - 1/4 mile in 1:45-2:00
Six sets of:
Sprint-1/8 mile
Sprint / Jogs
50 yd sprint / 50 yd jog
for 10, 20 , 30 minutes
stretching helps alot, stretch for 20 min each day, and warmup methods are karaokes (run sideways, right over left, then left over right, high knees, and upper body work too.
Eat healthy- vegetables, fruits, and vitamins. do not eat alot of fat.

Run more. Increase your mileage to build up endurance.
Work out. Do lower body as well as upper body lifting. Do more reps with less weight, you are going for toned not bulky muscles. I suggest doing lots of abdominal work also.
Run on hills. Hills help in all aspects of running and are a great way to improve lung function.
Eat healthier. Eat only lean meats, fruits, and vegetables. Avoid caffeine and trans fat.
Get a trainer. If you aren't on a team, look for a personal running coach in your area.

Since you are a sprinter there are a couple of things to focus on. One is your technique. Doing running drills will make a huge difference. Also, increase your strength. Sprinters need to spend time in the weight room.

Practice every day, try some agility classses, they help your foot work. To get better at your sprints try calf streches.

my brother did this. he found out what kind of protein to eat when and when to eat carbs and all this stuff and somehow it all resulted into bigger muscles and faster running. and he would run a lot. like 3 miles every day at least.
