I have a semester left until I get an AS in Accounting. After that I have one more year untill I get my BS in Accounting. I'm going to need to work after graduation while I'm working on the BS. What kind of jobs should I be looking at?

The first positions that usually come to mind regarding accounting include bookkeeping jobs like AR, AP, payroll clerk. To me, that's boring! Well, that were my initial thoughts too regarding accounting careers. Well, what do you know? Try public accounting! In this field you will most likely be in either audit or tax. Either path you choose, you will learn about different business and work on many clients throughout the year. You are always learning something new, so it's a challenge and though it does come with some stressful times, January-April (tax season), it's not mundane!
