To dare say there is no god at all how do they live with themselves? are they that hopeless? Imagine there is a god and if you dont believe there is a price to pay, how would you feel then ''Athiests''? You have no right to say there is no god indefinitely and I feel sorry for you because you are doing a diservice to yourself.

How dare you?

HOW DARE YOU?

you have the GALL to call yourself a good religious person?

Who do YOU think you are? What gives you the right to tell ME what I can and cannot say?
Your Imaginary friend would be dissappointed in you, if he were real.

JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED.

just because I choose not to share in your delusions does not give you ANY right to talk down to me.

Far be it from me to take the atheists side, but they have every right.

First , this is America. Second, if your faith cannot stand a little questioning then the onus is on you to strengthen your faith.

I deal with many atheists in real life and there are many times that I do not know an answer. So, I go find out and then we argue about it even more but, do you know what the end result is? For the next person that asks, I have an answer ready and my faith is strengthened even more than before!

In that way, even atheists are a blessing (and I bet that makes them REALLY mad)!

"...sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame."

I have no problem with them voicing their opinions; where I draw the line is when I hear things like "atheism is the only logical choice", "Christians are intellectually inferior", etc. stated as absolute fact, especially since it bothers them so much to be on the recieving end of ad-hominem attacks, generalizations, etc. I'm not condoning open season on atheists; I'm just saying that they shouldn't have any lower standards for themselves than they do for anyone else; if anything they should expect more of themselves.

I tend to think we spend an inordinate amount of time dictating to others what they can and cannot say, what they should or should not believe in.

Our Freedom of Speech guarantees a person the right to say there is no God if they so believe. Someone once said "I may not agree with what you have to say but I will fight, to my death, for your right to say it."

You believe that an Atheist has no right to say there is no God. I'd bet there are Atheists who believe you have no right to say God exists. In simple terms, you believe and they don't. Each person has to make the decision for themselves.

And you want atheists to listen to us? How can you demand they listen to Christians when you aren't interested in why they feel there is no God? Also, last time I checked, freedom of speech is not just available to those who agree with us.

Maybe, just maybe, if we did a little better showing the love that we say we have, they would be a little more receptive to the idea that God exists.

People have a right to say whatever they want.

Trying to deny that right makes your religion look bad.

If God does exist and there is a price to pay for disbelief then I will feel a lot of compassion for all the poor people who are going to get punished because there wasn't any good reason to believe in him.

I'm a Christian, and strongly support the right of atheists to say whatever they like. If I can voice the opinion that God exists, then they have the equal right to give a dissenting opinion that God doesn't exist. I believe in freedom of speech for everyone, not just for the people I happen to agree with.

I'm not an atheist, but I can tell you what gives them the right to voice their opinions. It's the first amendment. I don't agree with atheists saying "there is no god" any more than you do, but they still have the right to say so.

I don't know about you, but I am an older, tax paying, citizen of the "supposedly" free United States of America.
I have Earned the right to express my opinion, just as you have the right to express yours.
I have taken the time, YEARS, to study all of the "holy" books, weighed the FACTS, histories, etc. I have taken the time to prove my beliefs (or lack of) to myself.
Have you?
And what gives you the right to say that we are wrong? Try thinking if maybe, just maybe, we are right. But, I suppose you won't because you don't want your blind beliefs questioned.

They have the right to voice their beliefs. They're not trying to rebel, or be cool, or anger you. They guininly belive there is no God. I don't understand why that makes you angry...

Belief in God takes Faith, and it's a gift. Use it to live your life well, and be blessing to those around you, and maybe then you won't so bothered by atheists.
