Jesus, who was the God who made the covenant with Israel at Sinai, died on the cross, and like any such covenant, that covenant ended.
Christians are described as dying to that covenant law through baptism.
So it is utterly impossible to conclude Christians are required to keep any of the old covenant conditions and requirements.
The new covenant was instituted also by Christ's death, and Christians are a party to that covenant, said by Jeremiah and the writer of Hebrews that it was not going to be like the old covenant made with Israel at Sinai.
Christians therefore follow the commands given to Christians, namely that they have love for one another, and have love even for their enemies.
Love fulfills all the law through the Spirit.

If we take what Mark and the rest of the New Testament narrators had written then what Jesus was saying it was written being the past tense in the world of literature.
Having written the vise it was the Teacher of Righteousness who was with Mosses in the Tabernacle where the Law was kept in the Ark of Convent. Albeit the Wicked Priest Pinhas had killed the Teacher of Righteousness being no other than Joshua (Jesus) which lead to the myth of the transfiguration of the Christ story being re-told in the New Testament as it was written before.

Speak for yourself. The ten commandments as received by Moses are the basis for morality and certainly for Jews are still relevant.
Jesus was Jewish and he followed the Jewish laws. He never renounced his faith, which I know is a real big thorn in the side of Christianity.
That's why you now have to twist your religion into a pretzel. Paul, who reports on what Jesus said, never even MET Jesus.

Christ did not come to abolish the old but to fulfill it. God is the same yesterday, today and forever so all the commandments still holds. He doesn't change and neither does his words.
Yes, Jesus came to add to the law but we are not justify by the law but by faith in Jesus.

Jesus completed the law, so we follow the 10 commandments (the other 600+ laws were really just for the Israelites, not us) and we do it with love .... law + love.
