If you have liability and it was not your fault, then your insurance company wouldnt be covering anything.
What state are you in? If you carry Medical Payments Coverage and were injured in the accident, your policy will cover any medical bills up to the limit shown on your declarations page.
If the other party was not insured, and if you carry uninsured motorist coverage for vehicle dmgs or injuries, then your policy would kick in for those.
Otherwise, if the accident was not your fault, and the other person has insurance, their company would be liable for your injuries and/or damages

Your insurance will only help if the other person sues you for damages. Unfortunately, you'll have to go after the other guy's insurance to attempt to recover costs for your repairs for your car as well as medical bills due to any injury that may be caused by the accident.

If a police report was written, get the police report and any witnesses to the accident.

Liability insurance won't cover your losses.

sure, felony accountability coverage might desire to conceal damages from hitting vehicles in parking a lot if that is desperate by way of the coverage to be your fault. Hitting a parked motor vehicle is often your fault. you will possibly desire to continually turn over any claims for damages to somebody else's assets to your coverage and not in any respect pay out of pocket.

Your insurance shouldn't have to cover anything, if you were not at fault.
