I've filed my taxes on hrblock's website for 2 years, I have found it very easy to follow and understand. It's not free but it's rather cheap depending on how much stuff you have to file. I think the lowest is $10 something and it goes up from there!

I've used www.Taxslayer.com the last 2 yrs - was only $9.95 to file fed and state returns and I got my refund in less than 2 wks

If your income meets the guidlines, you can file your federal return from irs.gov early next year. Many state websites allow you to file your state return from the website at no charge.
