Wii is a weaker console, but it a has funny joystick, exclusive Mario line of games, intended for all-family type of fun. Cheapest of three major console systems.

The wii seems to be more family and younger child oriented. so you need to look at what kind of games you want to play and if your int Mario and Zelda type of games get one, if not save the money.

I have a wii and the 360 (sold my ps3 thought it was lame) but i defenitly think you should its an amazing unit and it works very well
