Madam,
Majority of Hospital workers in Saudi (Jeddah, Riyadh, Qassim, Qatip, Dammam, Dharan, Hofuf, Rabigh, etc) are Philippinos and they are collectively very close to each other living in a compound provided by the hospital and having a bus transport that bring them to the city centers back & forth.
They are receiving salaries starting from US$800 up to US$1,500 (tax-free) which is a good salary compared to the nurses in your place.
The problem is Philippino by nature are fun loving and very emotional people. And this is where the problem begins. The sense of belonging, the craving for attentions and caring push a lot of Philippinos to inter into a relationship against the Catholic norms of your culture - hence they always say that all Philippinos in Saudi are either, bachelors, widowers, or abandoned (NO MARRIED) !!!
King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah and Riyadh are both fine professional hospitals with big Philippino Community. Just ask your daughter (whether she is single or married) NOT to fall for a married man (specially non-Philippinos) and avoid pre-marital S*X. (Getting pregrant in Saudi out of marriage or without known husband in SAUDI is a BIG CRIME and Prostitution is normally the charge)
Good luck to your daughter !!!

she will be perfectly fine... Dont let the media circus scare you off.. They only want to take and run with negative stories.. Which you will find abuse all over the world if you read enough papers.. I wont sit here and innocently say the world is a charm and everywhere is wonderful.. Sure there are instances everywhere. but for the most part. Saudi Arabia will be just fine for her.. a great experience not to miss...
As for the bad media coverage.. No journalist is going to report about Happy Sally's wonderful work experience in such and such place and how nice her salary was/is and how great she is treated cause that is the most boring news report on earth.. You only hear the once in a blue moon bad reports and thereby making everyone generalize thinking its the normal way people are treated here.. ... anyways.. Goodluck and God bless her. she honestly will be fine

If she gets permission from her employer to work as a nurse then it will be ok. Yes doctoring and teaching are ok for women in Saudi Arabia.

Yes, it's a nice place to work. My father is one of the doctors there. There are thousands of Filipino nurses in Saudi Arabia. Good luck :)

Your husband needs to get marriage permission from the Saudi gov't before you can move to KSA. Your baby will be considered Saudi only by the Saudi gov't because Saudi Arabia doesn't recognize dual citizenship. It's advisable for you to get your child's Saudi passport BEFORE getting him/her a somali passport or any other passport. Even if you haven't done the marriage permission, your husband can send the paperwork into the nearest Saudi Embassy and get your baby a Saudi passport.
