The person you will want to marry WILL be your best friend, and you'll stay that way forever!
However, don't marry a dude who's like your 'best girlfriend' - that's a whole other thing. I dated guys previous to me meeting and marrying my husband, who were good friends, and even best friends, but had I married them, it would have been like marrying my twin, or brother, because we were too much alike.
I went for the spark, for the chemistry, for a husband who is unlike me in many ways - but we share the common values, heritage, religion, intelligence, humor etc. which is important to us.

Well...when people get married, they're usually
good friends with the person and they've got to
trust that person more than any one else because
they're going to have a life together...so wouldn't
that make them best friends?
Plus, a lot of people in this world have more than
one "best" friend.
It's always one of the greatest possibilities.

Yes, it is possible to marry your best friend. I am married to my best friend. I wouldn't have it any other way.
