Now why should anyone be afraid of islam?
For a start it isn't even a good religion. It might be younger than christianity but it is still stuck in the dark ages.
It's laws are that out dated that their running a well close second to the stone age..
Even the prophet cannot be respected in this day an age, as then he married a nine year old. You cannot bring something as unforgiving and unacceptable as that into the 21st century or even try and justify it.
You can keep islam....I will never need it.

The Holy, The Pure (Al-Quddoos)
59:23 God is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to God! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.

Interpretation:
(He is free from every attribute that a sense might perceive, free from what an imagination may conceive, or from that which may move the conscience, or from that which thinking demands. The Holy is the one who transcends every one of the attributes of perfection. This name has the meaning of purification.)

Practical Application:
(The holiness of believers lies in freeing their knowledge and their will. Essentially, believers should be free from all tangible and imagined things. Believers should come away from this name by understanding that sensory and imaginary perceptions are shared with animals and believers should rise above them. Animals also strive with man in human sensuous pleasures, so believers should free themselves from these kinds of pleasures. The aspirants are as exalted as the object to which they aspire, but those who are intent on nothing except God, find the level proportionate with their intent. Believers should elevate their minds above the level of the imagined and free their will from the dictates of passion, purifying their hearts from relying on any materialistic matter.)

Also look at jihadwatch.com

Also as opposed to Christians who are instructed to never deny their faith , Muslims are told that it is OK to lie about their beliefs in order to avoid persecution . And this can be while they are planning or carrying out a suicide mission . Recently a Muslim man dressed up as a bride (forbidden by Islam ) while he and a group of other Muslim Men attempted to carry out a suicide mission in Iraq . He was "allowed" to dress like a woman because he was avoiding being discovered by the police .

I fear islamic law, Sharia Law being forced upon us. I fear for my daughter, that she may be treated like a slave by Muslim men who are determined to dominate the world. I fear that PC and liberals, who want to ignore islam and never admit that islam is violent, will allow islam to take over. I have no fear of this false religion...just some of its insane followers who want to fulfill islam's prophecies of world domination and wars with Jews and Christians. I fear losing freedom.

God Bless.

No. I am afraid of many different types of unyielding radicals, and those come from many different cultures, religions, etc.

I find Islam kinda cool, at least in many of its basic beliefs and achievements. It seems to be going through a violent patch, as most world religions do at one point or another.

I am not afraid of Islam- It is pretty much the only thing that brings me any comfort these days.
I think people are always afraid of what they do not understand. It is unfortunate that some are unwilling to expand their horizons and learn more before passing judgement...

No. I am not afraid of Islam. Why? because God is with me. Islam is a religion filled with hate and violence. The bible teaches that these things must come but not to fear. I have great faith in the Almighty and that perfect love casts out all fear. I do feel sorry for the Islam women and the things that they endure. I pray for them often. Satan is our enemy and not the Islamic people. It is their beliefs and ideals that I am against. In Jesus name.

I'm scared of anybody who's only good on earth because of fear of punishment afterlife. I'm afraid of anyone who doesn't take responsibility and blames and praises a fiction character.

Because of its violent present. People like Ayaan Hirsi Ali are under the threat of death (her director Theo van Gogh was killed after he declined diplomatic protection).

While in the US she needs donations to maintain her security.

When people dare to exercise freedom of thought and freedom of speech, they are threatened with violence from Muslims. There are no Muslim protests against these threats. Their claims about a religion of peace are patently false.
