I got many mosquito bites this past summer. Even when I stayed inside in the evening, I got a lot, maybe through people opening the door, a hole in the screen.

But I also got other types of mysterious looking bug bites. I'm getting them inside, in my apartment. One insect bites leaving three bites in a row (it's almost as if the insect goes along saying "mmmmm, this is good." (lol) and then stops after three bites. They become red welts when I scratch them, of course. this happened the other night on my neck and on my leg. And then on my shoulder there are several, random bites, just on one shoulder. I have a lot of topical allergies; I'm also allergic to dust mites (do they bite showing red marks?), lanolin in wool, fragrances. This year has been awful. I don't know what's going on in my apartment. Anyone know anything about specific insect bites?

Agreed with JB: You're most likely looking at bed bugs or fleas. If it's bed bugs, get a new box spring and mattress. If it's fleas, sprinkle your apartment liberally with Borax, then vacuum after 20 minutes and every day afterwards for about 2 weeks.

Spiders usually don't bite people, unless they're threatened. So I doubt it's them.

It could be a spider bite but I would think that it's a bed bug bite. HOPE U GET BETTER SOON! ♥♥

Consider bed bugs. If you have a pet, consider fleas. Google treatment of both of these and see if your symptoms match.
