I don't believe it is a sin. I can tell you from experience that if I hadn't made love to a boyfriend before hand, I would have gone into an awful marriage. I don't think you should have sex before marriage without being mature enough and prepared enough. I also don't think people should enter into marriage unprepared either.
I think that exploring yourself is a natural and wonderful gift of the Divine. I don't think it should be abused, but I also don't think it's wrong.
What two (or more) consenting, mature ADULTS do behind closed doors is their own affair (ok, pun intended). What is important is that you and your partner(s) agree on the type of relationship between you. So many people just "go with the flow" and are too afraid/unwilling/immature to have a meaningful and honest conversation about what they want and expect from a relationship.
Just my opinion, though.
Good journeys

First off it is a sin because it says so in the Bible. Fornication is a sin. Second how can you use the example of dogs humping to justify something that human do. We are higher than dogs and animals (at least I am). Hampsters and so many other species eat their young does that mean it is okay for humans to do the same? No I think not. It is written in plain text that fornication is a sin, no ifs ands or buts about it. God does not change people do. Sex is to be enjoyed between a man and his wife. Even in the old testament when people had several wives and concubines God did not approve but he allowed these things to happen because of the hardness of their hearts and the lust of the flesh.

having babies before you can take care of them is a sin. not really but it should be.
i kind of beleive we are just one speices of animal on this planet, the toughest, and you wouldn't complain if the dogs had sex, unless its right in front of you. but you should plan properly because sex does cause babies and i don't really like seeming starving children.
marriage was a means of revenue for the roman church which was the state. i firmly beleive pay what you can. its not marriage that keeps you together, its love, honour and respect. And that stuff will probably happen long before marriage. perhaps some used the rite of marriage so that the churchstate could be paid for the your first act of sex.

The bible speaks of love a lot and marriage very rarely.
The judgments on sex before marriage are therefore basically mans judgments not Gods!!!

Sex is the most natural thing in the world. Two consenting adults should enjoy each other, before they get married, or not. it is THEIR choice.
If you want to wait, be my guest. But don't tell me what I can do.
Condoms prevent unwanted pregnancy, and STD'S.
USE THEM.
Religion does NOT belong in the bedroom, or anywhere else two consenting people want to have sex.(except in public).

Sex before marriage is not a sin.
Anyone believing that seriously needs their heads testing.
Anyone believing in sin needs their heads testing as well.

It is not right and it doesn't suite good beleivers (I don;'t like the term sin) coz it is using a gift of God in the wrong time.. We are not animals, we are human beings who need to love, commit to one another and get married in order to be able to have sex and bring children in a proper healthy atmosphere.. I thing the number of single mums and the number of children who never met one of their parents should prove that this is not the right was to do it! Not right for you, not right for your children..

I believe that it would be more of a sin to marry someone and then find out you don't satisfy each other sexually. Would probably lead to cheating and/or divorce, don't ya think?
But, I don't believe in "casual sex" or one night stands or things of that nature.

1 Corrinthians 6:9-10 it gives you the list of those sins that make you unworthly of heaven fornication among them.
Besides can you truly say that you love a woman if you treat her like a whore? laying with her and dishonoring her, using her as an object for your pleasure, I think not, if a man truly loves a woman he shall wait till they are married to have sex.
