i asked him if he still cared about me or not and he won't answer, he keeps stalling what should i do?

that can mean one or two things...he is interested in someone else or doesn't have interest in you. you can use a jealous approach by seeing someone else but before that ask for a break.

How many times did you ask him? Did you ask him in an accusing tone? Is this something you've been asking repeatedly over the past few days?
When you ask a man a question like that a lot, they can become tired of answering it. It frustrates them that you ask whether or not they care about you.
So look at his actions instead of his words. Does he treat you nicely? Does he go out of his way to do things for you? Does he put up with the little annoying things you do and not say anything about it? Does he talk to you every day?
Those are his ways of showing that he cares about you. If you see that his actions show that he cares, don't nag him with questions about his affection. That makes him feel like you don't appreciate all the things he does for you... and if you don't appreciate them, he might just stop doing them.

Most guys only have to be asked a question once. Did he answer the first 20 times you asked and now he is ignoring you? If you don't like the way your boyfriend is then don't let him be your boyfriend anymore. It's really that simple. And stop asking the same question 5000 times.

Mm, if a question so simple cannot be answered, he probably doesnt.
BUT- keep your eyes on his body language and how he treats you.. some people don't always show their care through words (though it is most common).
Depending on your situation, you could go out for dinner/lunch etc and tell him you are both going to talk about your relationship (let him know this ahead of time). He will come prepared, possibly letting him rehearse something important he may or may not have to tell you.
If you dont see or hear anything, it may be time to move on from this staller and invest in something better for you and your emotions.

If you really care, you can wait it out and see what happens. Just guard your heart, because I can tell you from experience.. when a guy is quiet, it's usually not a good thing.. because they're actually thinking. lol. Just be careful, my boyfriend did the same thing a couple months ago.. and I kept telling him to answer me. He ended up breaking up with me that same night.. Don't pressure him though, maybe he just needs his time to think about some things. Either way, things will be okay. Don't let him get you down:]

If you seriously want that question answered. Then ignore him and he will come around.
Another possibility is.. he is no longer interested in you and saying it would only cause you pain. So it's mixed he cares but not as a couple or the way you would like him too.

If someone cares about you it's very easy and simple to say yes...without question or conflict. Not unless your boyfriend likes to play games. Just tell him that you asked him a perfectly straight foward question and you demand a simple answer....yes or no. Then I would say "If you cant answer, Im going to take that as a no and be done with it." Its that easy.

He obviously doesn't want to hurt your feelings or is afraid you will kill him by admitting that he doesn't have feelings for you anymore. Get him off the hook and set the both of you free, break up with him!
Waiting for him to give you an answer is only delaying the possibility of you finding the right guy!

why is he even your boyfriend if you have to ask, caring happen to show, it does not need words.You got the answer when he wouldn't. Sounds like he's already broken up with you, just to cowardly to say, but you should be able to tell when someone cares about you. He's already gone, there's nothing left for you to do.

Dump him!!
If he doesn't care enough about you to tell you that he is not worth it. I know you may think you love him but believe me don't waste your time. Plus I bet he's the type once you dump him he'll keep calling and then act like he wants you, don't fall for it though, just gloat then move on.
