You assume that man has been given a purpose. Why do you assume that? You have some evidence for this, or are you just following your pre-conceived delusions?

There is no 'greater purpose' to mankind. Face it, that is the reality of the world. The only purpose of men and women is to make more versions of themselves.

Now, if you want to create a purpose for yourself, then go for it. However, there is no sky daddy looking down and grading you on the value of your purpose. There is only you.

There is no such thing as a soul. Feel free to produce some evidence for one and I will then, and only then, accept the existence of a soul. Such evidence needs to include the facts that a person's behavior can be altered by physical, chemical and electrical effects on the physical brain, which would indicate that a person's personality is hardwired into the neuron connections of the brain and not in some ethereal 'soul'.
