They only put on the shelves what people will buy. there must be a market for these items.

Well you see the Wal-Mart guys all got together and found out that it offends YOU. Yes It's the year of "Let's get Redfeather" at the 'ol Wal-Mart corporate headquarters. In fact they stopped donating to charity and cancelled all employee raises in order to divert enough funds to the effort!! I'd watch it cuz it really looks like they're a gunnun' for you this time.

Because Wal-Mart wants to suck your brain into shopping at the store. Plus they are considering hiring prostitutes and attracting even more customers to their business. Not too many guys like shopping so maybe if they put in a strip joint and strippers perhaps more guys would be interested in shopping at Wal-Mart.

Ouija boards are in the board game aisle.
It's supposed to be fun.

As far as the girls' clothing, perhaps that's the only clothing made by the sweat shops in China that Wal-mart buys from.

It's not a "wegee" board, it's a ouija board. And they don't sell them out here at Wal-Mart, although that would be pretty cool if they did...

people who buy are making the stores profit...and the ones who chose to buy such things are just silly at that..I did go there one time and I was very upset at clothing sold by nintendo, and I wrote them and wal-mart and said no! This is just unacceptable for a 3 year old to wear a shirt that says I hate the player...I know what it meant...but another child does not know what it meant, and to me it sounded like nintendo is teaching children to hate...to say the least I got them to stop selling it...and I no longer go to wal-mart for they support this stuff.

Why wouldn't they? It's not Wal Mart's responsibility to teach your children morals or dictate what you buy.

Although they tend to give in to boycotts and stop selling items people find offensive... the Ouija Board isn't going to be your one way ticket to hell and parents should use their own discretion as to what is alright for their children to wear.

Wal Mart is not the church of retail.

Because Wal-Mart sucks huge balls on a daily... no hourly basis. They actually have a large warehouse hidden a hundred feet under the store... in every store... where everyone that is a slave to that corporation is stuck in a mandatory session of ball sucking.

It's easy, as long as people are willing to purchase the items, someone is going to sell them. Wal-mart's main goal is to make money, so why lower profit by excluding "touchy" merchandise?

first off it's a ouija board, not a weejee board.
secondly, i find that our wal mart has lots of very appropriate clothes for little girls. k-mart has the hoochie clothes.

Because it's no longer run by Sam Walton, who was VERY conservative. Consequently, Wal-Mart sells LOTS of things that go against Sam's family friendly philosophy.

Here's another example for you: I don't think Sam would have approved of the Chippendale or Maxim calenders they sell now.
